Mr. McGinnis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada and a Master’s of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.  From 1972 to 1995, Mr. McGinnis was employed by Imperial Oil Limited, an affiliate of Exxon Corporation, in Canada. During this period, he served in various positions in both upstream and downstream divisions including three Refinery Manager positions, Manager of Planning in Downstream and Corporate divisions, Manager of Refining Services including all engineering, construction, safety and environmental services for the downstream division.

He also served as a Design Supervisor with Exxon Research and Engineering Company and Manager of Supply Coordination for Exxon Company International. In 1995, he joined TransAmerican Refining Company (subsequently Orion Refining Corporation) in Norco Louisiana as Vice President-Manufacturing and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer. This company developed and executed a Refinery refurbishment and US$1 billion expansion project for a 160,000 BPD Refinery. In 2001, Mr. McGinnis established his own consulting company and provided services to major oil sands projects in Canada and to the gas and oil refining industries.

Over the past four years, he has acted as an advisor to a number of companies on major refinery project developments and has performed technology evaluations for several gas-to-liquids technologies. He is currently an advisor to two projects being developed for these technologies. He is a recognized leader in the refining industry and has appeared on Bloomberg, CNBC and at many industry conferences as a featured speaker. Glenn’s extensive experience in handling chemical materials and in modular processing systems design and installation provide valuable depth to the company facility development.
